The Farmer's Market is officially over for the season, and what a beautiful day it was. A light breeze and 70 degrees and sunny. This has been one of my favorite things about living downtown... waking up on Saturday morning and walking down to the market where I can buy fresh foods and support local farmers.
Some of the goodies I brought home. Peppers, bread from Old Market Sourdough, aged cheddar cheese from Jisa's farmstead, eggs and beef from Thistles and Clover, and bacon and pork tenderloin from Harvest Valley.
